Cosmic Occurrences that Affect Our Planet and Ourselves

It has been hard not to notice the recent weather changes on our planet and wonder what might be causing this phenomenon.  As I write this in January 2008 in Pennsylvania, the temperature is 70 degrees today, 40 degrees above normal.  

The extraordinarily mild weather we are experiencing on the East Coast this week has wrought an unusual out-of-season swarm of 23 tornadoes in the Midwest today that destroyed many homes and killed two people.  Last year California experiences the worst wild fire season in history, destroying more homes than the New Orleans flood the year before.  It appears that all of our natural weather patterns seem to be going to extremes and this is becoming the norm on our planet.

Here are some of the less publicized cosmic occurrences that are happening in the universe:

• Dr. Mike Lockwood of the Rutherford Appleton National Laboratories in California claims that the magnetic field of the sun has increased by 230% in the past hundred years and this change is continually accelerating. 

• Powerful solar flares are given an X designation.  On August 16, 1989, and April 2, 2001, there were huge solar flares with an unprecedented designation of X-20.  On November 4, 2003, there was a solar flare of X-38 and the prediction at that time was that there would be much more solar activity of this kind in increasing X designations.

• Dr. Dmitriev at the Russian National Academy of Science states that we are entering a highly luminous region of space, and that the entire heliosphere (magnetic field of the solar system) has undergone a 1000 percent increase in its intensity. This is changing all life support systems in the solar system.  Ultimately, he says, the continued expansion of the heliosphere will lead to a sudden expansion of basic harmonic wavelength emitted by the sun, which will change the nature of all matter in the solar system. 

• The quality of the space between the planets is changing, conducting energy more quickly.  More specifically, the radioactive particles emitted by the sun are traveling 200 percent faster than NASA models expect.

• According to Dr. Dmitriev, the atmospheres of the planets are changing.  The planets are becoming brighter, hotter, more magnetic, more geologically active, and more atmospherically dense.  In 1997, the Mars Observer probe crashed on that planet.  NASA scientists calculated that the Martian atmosphere had become three times thicker than they had expected.

• Earth and it's moon are also displaying atmospheric changes.  Our moon has acquired a 6000 kilometer deep sodium gas layer that was not measured during the Apollo missions of the late 1960s.

• Hydroperoxyl (HO) gas is also appearing in Earth's upper atmosphere unrelated to surface causes.

• The Voyager 2 space probe discovered that Uranus and Neptune appear to have had recent pole shifts.  As a result, Neptune's magnetic field was 50 degrees off, and Uranus' magnetic field was 60 degrees off, both substantial changes.

• A 2003 study by the University of Wisconsin-Madison, reveals that Neptune's overall brightness increased by a whopping 40 percent in the six short years between 1996 and 2002.  Some areas are 100 percent brighter than before.

• In September 2002, a team of scientists at MIT discovered that, even though Pluto has been drifting away from the sun since 1989, there has been a 300 percent increase in atmospheric pressure since 1988 causing a noticeable rise in surface temperatures.

• Michael Mandeville's research shows that overall volcanic activity on Earth has increased roughly 500 percent in the 23 years from 1875 to 1998.  

• That same research indicates that overall earthquake activity on Earth has increased approximately 400 percent in the 25 years from 1973 to 1998.

• Natural disasters of all kinds on Earth in the 30 years from 1963 to 1993 increased by 410 percent according to Dr. Dmitriev.

• Dr. Dmitriev's research also concludes that this new galactic energy zone has caused the leading edge of the Sun's magnetic field to become more than 1000 percent brighter since the mid-1960s, and new forms of charged particles are showing up in this area in greater and greater amounts.

• As of August 2003, a NASA experiment discovered that four times more dust from our galaxy entered the solar system in the summer of 2003 compared to all of the 1990s.

Birds-Eye View

When we step back and look at these and the many other changes occurring in our universe, a pattern develops.  Apparently there are changes occurring both observed and unobserved that are increasing exponentially in magnitude over very short periods of time.  Where the universe is concerned, we used to speak in terms of millennia, then centuries, then decades, now years. 

We can't help but to ask how this affects us.  If these subtle forces are great enough to cause more volcanoes, earthquakes, and atmospheric changes on our planet, then what have they done to our bodies on the cellular level?

What does Dr. Dmitriev mean when he said in the third bullet point above that, the "continued expansion of the heliosphere... will change the nature of all matter in the solar system?"  We are comprised of matter.  How will these wavelengths change the nature of human beings?

And if these changes are accelerating at astronomical speeds compared to previous centuries or decades, at what point will this transformation occur?  Will it occur gradually or all at once?  And what will this mean on the spiritual level?  Will our entire civilization be evaporated by some huge galactic event?  Is this what scripture refers to as the "End Times?"

Side note:  In April 2005, 1000 toads crawled out of the water as if in a science fiction film.  They then swelled up to three times their usual size and exploded.  The lake in Hamburg, Germany where this phenomenon occurred has been dubbed the pond of death.

What We Don't Know Might Kill Us -- Not 

Many of the philosophical or spiritual views on what is transpiring are similar to the article linked to above, written by David Wilcock.  Wilcock is believed to be Edgar Cayce reincarnated.  He has written a fascinating book providing answers to many of the questions above called, The Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce, which actually has nothing to do with the reincarnation of Edgar Cayce.  I will soon be posting a book review on it in the Library.

The predominant line of thinking is that the "End Times" is not a bad thing.  In fact, it is referred to as the "Ascension" and the great "Cosmic Joke."  The humor being the anticipation that has caused such great fear and anxiety among us will actually be similar to the metamorphosis of a butterfly.  It is viewed not as an end, but as a beginning... a new life form so to speak that transforms the physical form into an energy form comprised mainly of light.  In fact, not only is this considered to be "much ado about nothing" but it is considered to be a tremendous leap forward in our evolution... a rebirth so to speak.

The Philosophical View

Let's imagine for a moment that the above is true and that we shed our physical bodies for energy bodies.  What would this mean exactly?

Without physical bodies, we would not need physical dwellings or the oil to heat such dwellings.  Temperature would not affect us in the way it does now.  We would not need food and water to nourish ourselves.  There would be no ill health, no disease as we know it.  There would be no drugs, no death, no taxes.  We would not need physical transportation vehicles.  Currency would be useless.  In fact, nothing that we value now would hold any value in this new world.

There will be no war because there will be no territory to fight over and no places of worship.  All after-death questions will be answered so there will be only one religion or no religion as faith will become obsolete under our new way of life.  Lineal time may no longer be the norm.

As energy beings we may be able to manipulate energy in the same way we manipulate our physical world.  Levitation and flying may be as easy as picking up a stone and throwing it.  Speech may become obsolete and thought to thought may become the norm making it very hard to deceive.  Perhaps this will usher in a whole new era of love and happiness.  

No one can possibly know for sure what this world would be like.  But let's face it, if this is going to happen, then the only thing we can really do about it is prepare our soul because apparently our souls are the only thing that may survive.

The Real Question

The real question that we must ask ourselves is, if we have only five more years left on this planet, how should we spend them?

Should we travel and get as much out of our physical realm as possible before it's gone?  Should we spend all our money before we lose it?  Should we look inward and try to prepare ourselves for this major journey?  Should we do nothing and just let fate take us where it may?

These are valid questions regardless of whether or not the world is ending.  It behooves each of us to search within ourselves for the answers to who we are and why we are here.  After all, there must be a point to all this.  What is it?
